Description | The Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at the Chandler Municipal Airport is a Federal Contract Tower (FCT). The facility is owned and maintained by the City of Chandler (“City”) and was constructed in 1995. Per the City’s Tower Operating Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the City is required to maintain the equipment identified on the FAA’s Minimum Equipment and Facilities (MEF) List. To ensure the MEF meet current standards and remain in good working order, the City requires the services of a qualified consultant to conduct an equipment assessment and develop a capital replacement and phasing plan. The ideal consultant candidate shall demonstrate extensive experience in the planning, programming, installation or replacement of air traffic control (ATC) equipment in ATC facilities in the United States or Canada. |
