DES Generator Compound Security Fence

The installation of a generator compound security fence. 1. Supply and install 80 feet (+/-) of chain link fence. Materials and installation shall be like in kind to the existing fencing. 2. Enclosure shall have 2 gates: 1 – 14’ wide, 16’ tall double swing gate; 1 – 3’ wide, 7’ tall personnel gate, located as depicted on the included drawing. 3. The lower section of fence shall be 2”, 5-gauge fabric; upper section shall be 3/8”, “anticlimb” fabric, topped by 24” stainless steel razor wire. 4. Gate posts shall be 6 5/8” Schedule 40 pipe; line posts shall be 4” Schedule 40. All posts shall be set in concrete in 18” diameter holes, 48” deep. 5. All rails shall be 1 5/8” Schedule 40 pipe. 6. Gate frames shall be 2” Schedule 40 pipe with hinges welded in place. 7. ¼” flat bar stock shall be installed on each side of the fabric transition joint, bolted in place. 8. All materials shall be black in color.
