| Description | The Electrical Distribution System will have receptacles installed below the raised floor for connecting larger un-moveable equipment, and receptacles in and above the raised floor for connecting computers and moveable test equipment. Power Distribution Units (PDUs) will be used in each lab to distribute the power to the receptacles. Power converters will be used to change the frequency from 60Hz to 400Hz, which is required on the test equipment. The output of the power converters will be connected to a distribution panel, which will supply 400Hz receptacles throughout the labs. Multiple cable tray systems will be installed below the raised floor to protect and contain interconnect cables between test equipment. PVC conduits will be installed below the raised floor and ran to the roof for connecting antennae. Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units will be used to provide cooling to the test equipment. |
