Construction of Health Center Housing Project

The project generally consists of: Clearing and grubbing 10.9 acres, Excavate and place of 18,980 CY of Earth Fill , Excavate and stockpile 4,520 CY, install 5,738 LF of sanitary sewer main, connect new sanitary main to existing sanitary manhole, install 17 sanitary manholes, install 1,735 LF of 8-inch water main and appurtenances, install 141 LF of 6-inch water main and appurtenances, grading and paving 6,445 SY of streets, install 3,359 LF of curb and gutter, seeding 9 acres of disturbed area and miscellaneous associated items. The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond payable to the Chippewa Cree Tribal Health Center, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, or Cash in Lieu of Bond as described in the Contract Documents. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate of that insurance shall be provided. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the owner.
