Description Benjamin Harrison Bridge located along side Route 156 in the right-of-way in Prince George County. The project generally describes work for two (2) distinct, but related portions, including but not limited to: The first part refers to the replacement of the existing wire rope (main counterweight ropes and related accessories) that comprise the bridge lift system. The second part refers to the removal and replacement of the failing bridge generator which is currently located and is physically attached to the bridge structure. A new generator and single story pre-engineered/pre-cast building enclosure will be constructed on the south end of the bridge, (east side of Route 156) and located on VDOT right-of-way between the roadway and Jordan Point Marina (address for the marina: 101 Jordan Point Road, Hopewell, VA 23860).
