Description | **As of October 14, 2022, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid yet.** For Nathan Hale Storm Water Basin and Park Improvements, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio. To construct a Strom Water Basin/Pond and various parking improvements in Nathan Hale Park located east of the intersection of Oakdale Drive and Parma Park Blvd in Parma Heights, Ohio. Each bid must be made upon the Proposal Form provided in the set of Specifications and must be accompanied by a bank or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in Cuyahoga County in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid or a Bid Bond also in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid as a guarantee that if said bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and a Surety Bond satisfactory to said City in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid will be furnished. Checks shall be made payable to Neff & Associates. A bidder/contractor will be deemed committed to the Department of Labor's goals and timetables for the Cleveland, Ohio areas as specified in the Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity Executive Order 11246 by submitting a properly signed bid. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Bids will be opened and read at the time and place stated above, city council room. Those who have submitted Proposals or their representatives are invited to attend. The right is reserved to accept any bidder, to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities should it be deemed to be for the best interest of the City of Parma Heights to do so. |
