Description

Scope: Each townhouse will be a two or three bedroom dwelling with approximately 1100 square feet of living area. The project site is one acre in size and is zoned as a Planned Unit Development (PUD). The overall development should meet Fair Housing Accessibility requirements, and one townhouse should be designed to be ADA compliant. Initially, the architectural services will consist of site design and townhouse design options to be approved by the City of Charleston’s Department of Housing and Community Development. The architectural contract will include Civil Engineering for the site, and the architect will be responsible for obtaining all City of Charleston Zoning, Design Review Board, and Technical Review Committee Planning Department approvals. The final phases of the architectural work will consist of design development and the generation of permit ready construction documents.
