The project consists of but not limited to: Installation of access control system at 14 doors and replacement of 7 front entry doors with sidelights. Installation of access control system at 14 doors and replacement of 7 front entry doors with sidelights. All bids must conform with provisions of Mass. General Law, Chapter 149, Section 44A to 44L inclusive, M.G.L. c.30 39M & to minimum wage rates as required by the Davis/Bacon Acts subject to the provisions of 29 CFR 5.5 as amended by the U.S. Department of Labor. The project is subject to Title VI of the Civil rights Act of 1964, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and the Instructions to Bidders. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO), formerly known as SOMWBA. The combined participation goal reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 12% of the final contract price including accepted alternates.
