To provide supervision, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, design, and facilities to provide Cooling Tower Repair Blanket Services to be performed at various Colorado Springs Utilities Power Plants. 1. Martin Drake Power Plant (Drake) is located in the City of Colorado Springs at exit 141, off of I-25. The mailing address for the plant is: 700 Conejos Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 2. Ray Nixon Power Plant (Nixon) is located in the City of Fountain at Exit 125, off of I-25. The mailing address for the plant is: 6598 Ray Nixon Road, Fountain, CO 80817 3. Birdsall Plant (Birdsall) is located in the City of Colorado Springs. The mailing address for the plant is: 213 Nichols Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. 4. Drake has two coal fired boilers, D6 and D7. The cooling towers for the units are 6-cell, crossflow, induced-draft towers manufactured by the Marley Company. In 2012, the D6 cooling tower was rebuilt by Midwest Cooling Towers.
