Sunset Highway and 77th Avenue Southeast Intersection Improvements

This project has been cancelled and will plan to rebid at a later date. Work to be performed under this contract includes but is not limited to: temporary traffic control; pavement, removals and minor excavation; new concrete curb & gutter; new concrete side-walk, stamped concrete median islands, ADA ramps, and cement concrete pavement, intersection; asphalt road patching and overlay; new Rapid Response Flashing Beacon (RRFB) pedestrian crossing signal system, conduit and wiring installation; new pavement markings; storm drainage improvements; water main extension; and landscape restoration. Engineers Estimated Cost: $1,300,000 A bid deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid total price must accompany each bid. Bidder questions are to be directed to Lia Klein Transportation Engineer, by email only at lia.klein@mercerisland.gov. The City will receive ques-tions until 1:00 PM on October 7, 2022. Questions received after this date will not be answered. The City reserves the right to reject. any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities.
