Bowie Fencing and Drainage Improvements Project

1. Fencing shall include the installation of the following chain-link swing gates: A. Two (2) 6-foot wide pedestrian swing gates along easterly fenceline. B. One (1) 32.5-foot wide double-leaf vehicular swing gate with cane bolts along easterly fenceline. C. Two (2) 26-foot wide double-leaf vehicular swing gates with cane bolts along southerly fencline. D. Three (3) 5-foot wide pedestrian swing gates along southerly fenceline. 2. Contractor shall remove and replace 59 L.F. of fencing at easterly fenceline as shown on Exhibit F5. 3. The subject area is shown in Exhibit D, Site Plan. The chain-link fence design standards are shown in Exhibit E, Design Standards. 4. Contractor shall saw-cut existing 3’ wide concrete curb and gutter opening for new drainage pond. Grade 9’ x 150’ v-ditch at 0.05% (new drainage pond), sloped to drain as shown in sketch Exhibit G, Pond Section. New v-ditch drainage pond shall connect with existing drainage pond at 0% grade (flat). Flat portion of v-ditch shall be 140 L.F. as shown on pond sketch Exhibit H. 5. Contractor to construct a 12’x5’x6” mortared-joint rock rip-rap desilting basin, centered at the new drainage pond opening. New desilting basin elevations to match elevations at new drainage pond opening and graded to drain along proposed 0.05% sloped flowline. 6. Photographs of the subject area are included (Exhibits F1, F2, F3 and F4). 7. This project will require a City of El Paso fence permit.
