Description The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) has a requirement for all labor, equipment, parts, maintenance and travel to provide Fire Alarm System Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services. Services shall be provided at VAPHS, H.J. Heinz Campus, 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. The Contractor shall provide services which include, but are not limited to, the performance inspection, testing and preventive maintenance and repair of the fire alarm and notification systems, equipment and related components. The facility utilizes a General Electric EST3 fire alarm system. Devices include manual alarm devices, smoke and heat detectors, remote and graphic annunciators, main fire alarm panel and components to include; programming, voice alarm system, speakers and horns, and other audible and visual alarm devices. Additional components include wiring circuits and junctions, other alarm detection, control, ancillary, and emergency power operation devices. Inspection and testing shall be performed in the following locations: a. Buildings 32, 49, 50 51, 52, 53 - Inspected and tested annually in March. b. Buildings 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70 & 71- Inspected and tested annually in September.
