Walk-in Cooler Replacement

Per Tracie Busby documents will be available at the pre bid meeting for all that are interested. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the owner. Interested contractors can receive the Invitation to Bid including the necessary proposal forms, by contacting Tracie Busby, at 205-379-2215. Bids shall clearly be identified on the exterior of the envelope with the bidders name, address, Contractor's license number and type, bid number, date and time of bid opening. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Jefferson County Board of Education in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidders proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after the award since the bid amount is expected to exceed $50,000. Evidence of insurance should be provided as required by the bid documents. The owner intends to award a contract for this work to a single qualified, experienced contractor. The owner will consider proposals only from firms, which can demonstrate their successful experience and ability to perform the work necessary for this project, as outlined in the Invitation to Bid. The release of the Bid documents to the bidder does not imply acceptance of the bidders qualifications by the owner.
