Description

Pump Station #5 (PS #5) and Proctor Road Transmission System project. PS #5 is located at the northeast corner of Proctor Road and Cattlemen Road and is in need of upgrades, as further described below. The transmission system improvements consist of approximately 1-mile of 24- inch to 30-inch pipeline from Pump Station #5 westward to the intersection of Proctor Road and Honore Avenue. A. Pump Station - 5 i. Upgrades to infrastructure components to improve tank fill time, and will include, but not be limited to, pump set enhancement, replacement, or addition of flow control and monitoring devices. ii. Installation of flow control and monitoring devices. iii. Yard piping improvements. iv. Improvements will be made to the local process instrumentation & control (I&C) systems and interfaces. Communication infrastructure is to be upgraded for future interconnect with the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) network. v. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) control cabinet and communication upgrades. vi. Electrical system upgrades. vii. Storm-hardening of structures and generator backup power system upgrades. B.
