Description | The Village of Mt. Pleasant and South Shore Fire Department hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for the construction of the South Shore Fire Department Fire Station No 8 Addition & Renovation. The Project consists of one prime Contract and is identified as follows: Project No. 220030-01 Village of Mount Pleasant South Shore Fire Station No 8 Addition & Renovation per drawings and specifications of the approximately 1,340 gross square floor area cold form steel stud framed building with approximately 810 square foot renovation. In the form of a Bid Bond or a certified check in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Bid shall accompany the bid. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. BID SUBMITTAL: Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filling in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. All bidders, and sub-contractors, must file a "3-Year Contractor's Pre-Qualification Application," and other documents with the Bid (see Instructions to Bidders.) NOTE: ALL applications that were previously approved under the last 3-year cycle expire on 1/1/2025. All bidders and subcontractors that have NOT submitted a Pre-Qualification application form since 1/1/2022 MUST submit a new application form and $75.00 application fee in order to be considered for this project. The Owner has the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Owner. LEGAL PROVISIONS: The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 61.55, 66.0901 and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statues. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. |
