Lowd Avenue Reconstruction

The work under this contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, incidentals and services for the construction and installation of the following work and as specified on project plans and specifications: 1. Existing asphaltic pavement, base, subgrade material, curb and gutter, header curb, sidewalks, driveways, miscellaneous concrete, abandonment of existing water, removal of existing and sanitary sewer line and manholes, landscape and any type of decoration on parkways, drainage inlets, chain link fence, clearing and grubbing, wooden bollards, and traffic signs. 2. Hot mix asphaltic concrete (HMAC), type C, crushed stone base course, Type A, Grade 2, in -place combination of cement/lime stabilized subgrade material, select fill material, 4- inch rolled curb, ADA/TAS compliant sidewalks, ADA/TAS compliant wheelchair ramps, reinforced concrete driveways and sidewalks, storm water system, re- grading of an existing pond, installation of rock rip rap on one side of the pond, inlet grates, water and sewer improvements, and traffic signs. The work will require establishing traffic and erosion control measures such as hay bales, silt fence, and stabilized construction entrance and exit.
