Lamoine Snow Plowing Bid

The Town of Lamoine is accepting bids for qualified contractors to provide snowplowing and sanding services for three years, beginning October 15, 2023 and ending May 15, 2026. By mutual agreement, the town and the winning bidder may extend the end date of the contract to five-years or 2028. The bid will be submitted in two separate parts. One will include the town roads listed in the sample contract, the other shall be the Lamoine Consolidated School parking area. The bid will be awarded to the lowest, responsible overall bid for both parts. Total town plowed road mileage is approximately 22.3 miles (two lanes) plus 4 parking areas. The town provides a storage building for salt and sand. The successful bidder purchases the salt and sand as part of this contract, and provides periodic routine maintenance to the storage building and shall include the cost of both in the contract bid. The Town of Lamoine reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids. The successful bidder will be selected on the basis of both cost to the town and the demonstrated ability to provide the services needed.
