For the construction of the Water Treatment Plant Backwash Pump Replacement project A general description of the work is as follows: Remove and replace existing backwash pumps. The Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for the Project is $110,000. Unit price bids will be received for a single prime Contract. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is AA Blueprint, 2757 Gilchrist Road, Akron, Ohio, 44305, Phone: 1-800-821-3700. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or view on-line.Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall comply with the following items: A. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code apply to this project. Copies of Section 153.011 of the Revised Code can be obtained from any of the offices of the Department of Administrative Services. B. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Questions must be addressed in writing to Joshua Renicker, P.E.
