Certified Lead-Based Paint Building Inspector/Risk Assessor

Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has been awarded funding to establish a Montgomery County Lead and Healthy Homes (MONTCO LHH) program to prevent childhood lead poisoning and to promote lead-safe, healthy housing. The Office of Public Health (OPH) and the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) jointly administer this 42-month program, which started February 14, 2020 and runs until August 13, 2023. At least 50 housing units in the Boroughs of Lansdale and Pottstown will receive interim and/or full lead hazard control over the project period. Housing units that are most at risk for poisoning are in the following census tracts: Lansdale: 2009.02; 2009.01 and Pottstown: 2089.04; 2089.03, 2089.01, 2089.06. he period of the contract shall be for 24 months commencing on the date of contract execution.
