Description

Hoyle, Tanner Specification No. 20.307604.05 City of Eastport, Maine Eastport, ME Eastport Municipal Airport Sealed Bids for Reconstruct Approximately 1,400 SY of Apron at the Eastport Municipal Airport will ONLY be received. This project generally consists of pavement reconstruction on the terminal apron. Work includes pavement removal, unclassified excavation, installing select materials and paving. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Worksheet. All technical questions regarding this project should be directed by email to Suzy Sheppard ssheppard@hoyletanner.com. to be given consideration, and must be received by Monday, March 6, 2023. To bid on this project and be considered a plan holder, the Bidder MUST download the digital project bidding documents from QuestCDN and pay the download delivery fee. Neither owner nor engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than QuestCDN. Prospective bidders are asked to provide information on whether their company is listed as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) in the state where the work will be performed in order to comply with FAA regulations. Prospective bidders will be asked to provide this information at time of plan purchase. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the General Provisions. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. The Contractor on this work will be required to comply with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration and the Eastport Municipal Airport DBE Program. No bidder may withdraw any bid prior to September 30, 2023
