SW Pine Island Road Irrigation Tanks and High Service Pump Station

The project consists of the construction of a remote storage and pumping facility located on City of Cape Coral owned parcel serving the City’s irrigation systems. The new facilities include two 5-MG prestressed reinforced concrete ground storage tanks, a high service pump station, an electrical room and housed in a concrete masonry building; partial chemical storage and feed systems will also be included within the building and outside canopy. The project also includes 36” reclaimed water transmission pipeline from the new facility to the intersection of Pine Island Road and Commercial Park Place where a connection is made to the irrigation water distribution system. Commercial Park Pl is to be extended to the project site along with potable water main. The project also includes electrical distribution equipment, standby power system including a diesel generator, and diesel storage system, PLC based control system, instrumentation, radio infrastructure to communicate with the City SCADA system. Stormwater systems is to be installed on the City owned parcel. Also included is temporary erosion and sediment control, grading, sodding, perimeter wall, electric access gate, communication tower, and landscaping as detailed on the plans and required by governing authorities.
