Description

Scope: The well needs to be abandoned according to the rules and regulations of the City, County and State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GAEPD). The buildings, slabs and fence all need to be removed from the property. The area should be put back to its natural condition. The contractor will need to cap both the water line and sewer line at the road right-of-way. The contractor will need to coordinate with the City electrical department for removal of electric service. The contractor will have forty-five (45) days after the City awards the bid to complete the project. This will be a lump sum bid. The contractor will need to work with the City because some of the equipment will be relocated to the City shop. All chemicals will need to be properly disposed of according to GAEPD regulations.
