Description | Upon timely receipt, Owner will acknowledge receipt of and evaluate each SOQ based on the evaluation factors contained in the full RFQ document. The three firms determined to be most qualified in the sole judgment of Owner will be issued a Request for Proposals (RFP), including the Design Criteria Package, and invited to submit a detailed Design-Build Proposal. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Matt Latham, Park Planner/Project Manager, 2051 Timberman Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013, email mlatham@yourmetroparks.net. Each SOQ must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the SOQ and all persons interested therein. Successful proposers shall comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunities in the performance of any contract. This is a prevailing wage project. MetroParks of Butler County is a governmental agency exempt from all local, state and federal taxes. SOQ must be submitted as a single PDF file via email or file transfer service. The Owner intends to award a contract to the firm that, out of the three determined to be most qualified, provides the proposal that is determined by the Owner to be most advantageous to the owner. The project is described as follows: Streambank stabilization to address approximately 400 linear feet of eroding bank, including invasive plant removal, in-stream structures, micro-detention stormwater wetlands, and native wetland/riparian buffer seeding and planting. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the RFQ/RFP process. |
