Description | The Smithsonian will be seeking proposals for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract ("IDIQ) to provide consulting services to various Smithsonian facilities. The applicable North American Industry Classification Codes ("NAICS") is 541611 Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services, size standard is $24.5 million. This announcement is full and open to all businesses regardless of size. The contract awarded will be firm-fixed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract ("IDIQ) for Consulting Services with no Minimum Contracting Work/Amount Guarantee. This is not going to be set aside for small business but they are welcome to apply. Our department focuses on the contracting procedures for acquiring goods and services (other than simplified acquisitions) necessary for furthering the mission of Smithsonian Institution. The objective is to award a One (1) year contract with Nine (9) one-year options to provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide enterprise-wide business consultant services to the Smithsonian for all business areas which may include, but are not limited to, those areas set forth below. As required by the Smithsonian through separate Work Orders, successful offeror(s) shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide enterprise-wide business consultant services to the Smithsonian for all business areas which may include, but are not limited to, those areas set forth below. Offerors may propose on one or more of the business areas listed below. Each Work Order will contain a scope of work and specifications that will indicate the general and specific works required of successful offeror(s) for the following: Business Process Improvement Analysis Financial Controls Financial Management Governance Best Practices Health and Environmental Management Human Resource Management Information Technology Management Inventory Management Internal and Operational Controls Personal Property Asset Management Policy Development Research and Benchmarking Strategic Planning Supply Management Eighty-five (85) percent of work is anticipated to be in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, which includes Maryland and Virginia. The remaining fifteen (15) percent of the work is anticipated to be other geographical locations where Smithsonian Institution facilities which includes, but not necessarily limited to, Arizona, Florida, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Panama.
