Description

The City of Ridgefield is seeking bids from highly qualified contractors to provide all labor, supplies, equipment, materials for the construction of the Overlook Park Splash Pad located at 113-131 S Main Ave as shown in the Overlook Park Splash Pad plans. All related work must be in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The City of Ridgefield is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Women's Business Enterprises in contracting activities. The City of Ridgefield in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City reserves the right to cancel this request or reject any and all bids or to waive any minor formalities of this call if the best interest of the City would be served. The Work shall be fully complete within 120 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed. Notice to Proceed will be issued following Department of Health permit approval, and the date given is approximate. All project or contract language specific questions, requests for substitutions or changes, or requests for clarification must be submitted via electronically by 4:00 p.m. on 8/17/2022. Incomplete or late inquiries may not be considered. The Citys electronic Portal Clock is the official clock for the determination of all deadline dates and times. Without exception, responses will not be accepted after the submission deadline regardless of any technical difficulties such as poor internet connections. The City strongly recommends completing your response well ahead of the deadline.
