Handon / Ionia CFs - Bar Screen and Grinder Upgrades

ALL questions should be emailed to Scott DeKorte at dekortes@michigan.gov address no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern on 09.22.2022 PROJECT DESCRIPTION/SERVICES REQUESTED Handlon / Ionia CF - Testing of existing water and remediations for better water quality. Provide new auto-lift grinder / bar screen system for the sanitary system within the existing grinder pit located midway between Handlon and Ionia CF. Provide air-monitoring system within existing grinder pit. Modification of existing grinder pit may be required including a structure covering the existing open-air pit. Provide new access road and turnaround from the Handlon CF existing perimeter road to the grinder pit location. New system shall be approved by all required code agencies. LEIN Check (Department of Corrections ONLY) All contractor / vendor representatives attending Preproposal Walk Through Meeting must submit a Vendor / Contractor LEIN Request form five business days prior to the meeting date (See the attached Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request Form). Send the LEIN Request form, filled and signed, by email to Daniel T. Smith at email address: smithD76@michigan.gov . The email "Subject" must include (facility name, project name, date and time of Pre-Proposal Walk Through Meeting).
