Description

The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, appliances, materials, and equipment for all work to drill and install up to 33 resource protection (monitoring) wells using hollow stem auger methods as part of the Columbia Slope Stormwater Retrofit Study. Drilling will be performed at 10 sites. The scope of work includes decommissioning each borehole and/or well. Borehole decommissioning will occur immediately after drilling based on drilling observations (i.e., for borings where subsurface conditions are deemed “unfavorable” by the hydrogeologist); whereas monitoring well decommissioning will occur during a second mobilization at the end of the project (anticipated to be 5 to 18 months following well installation).
