Fourth Floor Gaming Remodel All potential bidders must become certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects with budgets over $50,000 In general the work consists of: the removal of existing walls to accommodate the construction of new walls for new offices, conference, and server room. The construction of new spaces and the reconfiguration of existing spaces will require HVAC, electrical, acoustical panel ceiling, and grid work. Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 16.855(10), Wisconsin Statutes, that the Division believes it is in the best interests of the State to contract the following work from only one source, without the usual statutory procedures: Section 09 05 00 Common Finishes; Acoustical Panel Ceiling, Painting. The following work will be accomplished by DFD or will be let under separate contracts and will not be included under the General Prime Contract: o Reinstallation of Card Readers o Floor Finish Removal, Preparation and Installation of New Flooring o Furniture Installation, Contractor shall install cubical base feed provided by vendor. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
