Greenhouse Restoration Phase 1 - Research Greenhouse

Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to restore/replace several components of the research greenhouse. Work includes but is not limited to removal and replacement of exterior metal wall panels at soffit and fascia, removal and replacement of flat roofing system/skylights, greenhouse restoration/replacement as called out in contract documents of glazing sealants, vents, inset screens, shades, mechanical controls, electrical and plumbing. Refer to drawing G002 for a list of add alternate scope of work. Refer to attached Hazardous Material Report dated 10/25/2018 for reference and indicating no ACM, lead or PC containing tested substances at the research greenhouse. Scope to replace glazing panels at South Side of corridor 105 (teaching greenhouse) includes ACM sealant that will be abated as part of this contract. Prospective Bidders must purchase a bid set from website to be considered a responsible bidder, even if Bidding Documents were viewed or obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website and registered bidders will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
