Description | Reference Number 0000325713 The Project consists of the demolition of an existing three (3) level parking garage, two (2) CMU stair towers, CMU Trailways building within the garage, and Water St. Extension bridge, stabilization of retaining wall on the south side of Water Street utilizing low density cellular concrete fill, hazardous materials removals, construction of a new 3-sided permanent retaining wall at the southeast corner of Water Street, and miscellaneous mechanical, electrical, and utility work, located at 47 Market Street in Oneonta, NY. All pre-bid questions and/or product substitutions must be submitted on form included in the specification manual and in PDF format by e-mail to jjanitz@oneonta.ny.us and lmastracci@wendelcompanies.com by 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on Friday, August 18, 2023 to be answered/considered. General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Insurance Required - License Required - Prevailing Wage Required The successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall achieve Substantial Completion by March 31, 2024 and Final Completion by April 30, 2024. Due to the funding for the above-mentioned project, MWBE goals and requirements will be waived. However, the successful bidders must make a good faith effort in complying with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation Goals (DBE) for each Prime Contract equal to a minimum of 10% of the Contract Sum, and shall be acknowledged on the DBE Utilization Form included on the Bid Form The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, reject any or all Bids without explanation, or solicit for new bids, if in its sole opinion the best interest of the Owner will be promoted. |
