| Description | Provide the State with a complete Camera Lowering Pole System. Provides additional guidelines for the purchase of Freeway Camera Poles with a lowering system(s) used by the TMD for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The cameras are part of the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) to assist in Traffic Operations, Advanced Traffic Management, Advanced Traveler Information, Homeland Security, and broadcast media feeds. These CCTVs are currently mounted on 45 foot, 60 foot, and 75 foot steel poles. For maintenance purposes, the TMD uses a cable operated, camera lowering system to raise and lower the CCTV units. This 2019 RFP will only require providing the 75 foot lowering poles. |
