Description

As of 1/6/2023 this RFP has been cancelled. A new RFP will be issued soon The Town of Wellesley, acting through its Board of the Municipal Light Plant ("MLP") invites proposals for: TOWN OF WELLESLEY NEW SCHOOLS & LIBRARY SOLAR PROJECT Wellesley Municipal Light Plant (WMLP), a municipal light plant operated pursuant to the applicable provisions of Chapter 164 of the Massachusetts General Laws, hereby requests competitive proposals for the purchase of 100% of the output from solar generating facilities to be located on the roof of the Wellesley Free Library, the new Hunnewell Elementary School building, which completion is expected in the summer 2024, and the new John D. Hardy Elementary School building, which completion is expected in the spring of 2025. These sites are all municipal buildings located in Wellesley, Massachusetts, 02481. No such envelope shall contain more than one proposal. The second envelope marked: "Response to Request for Proposals - Town of Wellesley New Schools & Library Solar Project Pricing - Specification #23S-80-197" Note that the Responder must submit ALL pricing response material separately from all other response material. The WMLP reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, to waive any informalities in responding, to award to one or more Respondents as to some or all items on which Proposals are requested, and to award in such other manner as may be deemed in the best interest of the Town of Wellesley.
