Description | The USAID has recently had restroom renovations, and grout waste has inadvertently clogged some riser stacks in the Ronald Reagan Building. The clogged riser pipe has resulted to several floods. Building O&M has investigated one of the risers (Room 3.07J) by cutting the 4" pipe and found the pipe filled with solid grout. The RRB was occupied in 1998 and houses a variety of tenants. The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to procure the services of a Construction Contractor to provide the Government with the repair of clogged sewer pipe risers located at the Ronald Reagan Building (RRB). The scope consists of replacing pipe, cleaning, pipe jetting, snaking, videoing and other means to clean and remove grout from pipes in stacks X.07 (West side) and X.08 (East side) at the janitors closets and men's rooms; floors 7 down to mezzanine level. Drywall removal and replacement is required at wall and ceiling in janitor's closets. Removal and replacement of water filters and copper water piping is required in west janitor's closets to make space for drain line removal and replacement. |
