Description

** This project has been awarded to Pacific Power Group in the amount of $85,838.00. ** The City of Wasilla desires to receive bids from Contractors to construct the Richmond Hills Booster Station and Site Improvements project. The scope of work includes furnishing and installing an insulated concrete form block building, mechanical, interior and exterior water piping, interior and exterior valves, and all related appurtenances; site work includes building pad preparation, concrete generator pad, storm drain infiltration pit, asphalt paving, and chain-link fencing; coordination for installation of new electric service; connection to the existing water mains; installing Owner-furnished booster pumping system and Owner furnished standby generator; and coordination with Early Package vendors providing these components. Work also includes demolition of chain link fencing, asphalt pavement, disposal of unusable soils, traffic control within public rights-of-way, and other miscellaneous items of work The selection of the qualified bidder will be at the sole discretion of the City of Wasilla, and the City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to not award a contract if deemed in the best interest of the City. This solicitation does not commit the City of Wasilla to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of the bid or to award any contract. Bids shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the solicitation of sub-bids, award of subcontracts, or performance of the work The contract shall be approved by the Wasilla City Council to the lowest qualified responsive and responsible bidder
