RFP Engineering - Bus Garage Modernization Program

The bus garage modernization project will involve the upgrades / transformation to existing garage facilities to ensure they are capable to accommodate a zero emissions fleet and to address existing operational and facility constraints and state of good repair concerns. This project will be completed in stages. Stage I will consist of Task 1 - Hilton Garage Early Construction (100% Final Design and Construction Documents) and Task 2 - System Wide Garage Survey & Existing Conditions. The primary goal of the bus modernization program is to completely renovate and transform the existing bus garages to new state-of-the-art bus facilities that are zero emissions ready. All firms submitting Proposals for this project must have related experience of a similar magnitude. A 25% Race Conscious DBE goal for Stage 1 only has been assigned to this project. All proposals, contracts, laws and related documentation will be subject to the financial assistance contract between the project sponsor and the U.S. Department of Transportation, under the Federal Transit Act of 1964, as amended, based upon availability of fund.
