This project will include removal and replacement of 25 Bare Stem Butterfly Valves, using Existing Actuators. Failure to submit information in accordance with this RFP's requirements and procedures may be cause for disqualification. A. Under this of Work, the Contractor shall submit a proposal, including computations, and methods for Removing 25 Butterfly Valves with Actuators and Replacing with 25 Bare Stem Butterfly Valves using Existing Actuators Supplied by HCWA: Removal and Replacement with four (4)- 24" Val-Matic 2024X-150B Flanged utterfly Removal and Replacement with four (4)- 20" Val-Matic 2020X-150B Flanged Butterfly 10' Torque Tube -Influent. Removal and Replacement with four (4)- 20" Val-Matic 2020X-150B Flanged Butterfly -Backwash. Removal and Replacement with four (4)- 10" Val-Matic 2010X-150B Flanged Butterfly -Influent Removal and Replacement with four (4)- 8" Val-Matic 2008X-150B Flanged Butterfly -Rewash. Removal and Replacement with four (4)- 8" Val-Matic 2008X-150B Flanged Butterfly 300F Viton Seat- Air Service 75 PSI. HCWA shall furnish shall furnish all materials, Butterfly Valves, Gaskets, and mounting accessories to fit Existing AUMA Actuators. The Contractor shall review and verify dimensions shown on the plans and review all field conditions that may affect work. Should discrepancies appear the contractor shall notify in writing to obtain clarification before commencing with work. The Contractor shall review the conditions upon site visit, and make an assessment and recommendations for repair and submit their proposal thereafter The Henry County Water Authority provides water and waste water service to about 65,000 residents and businesses in mostly unincorporated Henry County Georgia. Henry County is a community of approximately 240,000 residents southeast of Atlanta. HCWA was created as an independent agency by the Georgia legislature in 1961.
