Rehabilitation of Lift Station - North West Corner of Highway 365 and Kotz Road

For furnishing all necessary superintendence, labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of: Rehabilitation of Lift Station - North West Corner of Highway 365 and Kotz Road Bids are for construction of a new sanitary sewer lift station, stand by generator and demolition ofthe existing lift station. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent ofthe greatest amount bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to The City ofNome may be submitted in lieu ofthe Bid Bond Funding for this project is covered under Section 3 ofthe Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. All eligible bidders must comply with Section 3 requirement in regard to meeting or exceeding the required objectives for both hiring and subcontracting. In accordance with these objectives, contractors are required to direct their newly created employment and/or subcontracting opportunities to Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project.
