Lift and Swing Melting Furnace

Due to changing scope of needed product(s) or service(s) this Request for Bid. The University has a state construction project underway to completely renovate the Sculpture Lab for the benefit of our Art students. DOA project 19G3L reconfigures the Arts Sculpture Lab to meet current health, safety, and ventilation requirements for sculpture and metal fabrication, coating, etching, and other standard related techniques. A major component of this project is relocating the foundry to an adjacent unconditioned 865SF addition. As of part of the equipment budget for this project the campus is looking to procure an electric lift and swing melting furnace for the foundry where end users will cast (melt and pour into molds) aluminum and bronze. The end users of said furnace will be the students and instructors that are part of the Sculpture classes in the department of Art and Design at UW-Whitewater.
