| Description | Contractor is to supply and install playground shade structures in sizes as indicated below. All materials shall be structurally sound & appropriate for safe use. All exposed metals shall be corrosive resistant such as stainless steel or with a coating such as zinc-plating, galvanizing or powder coating. Fabrics used shall include UV-stabilizers & fire retardants for longevity & safety. All tubing members are to be factory welded by Certified Welders to American Welding Society (AWS) standards & all weldments to be finished in zinc-rich galvanized coating. All tubing used shall be cold formed & milled per ASTM A-135 & ASTM A-500 |
