Description

The manufacturer shall design, fabricate, test and deliver to the jobsite one (1) complete line-up of 15kV class, outdoor metal-clad switchgear, with cable entry point underneath the gear for termination of 15kV class, 2000 amp feeder, a weatherproof, heated walk-through maintenance aisle, main and feeder horizontal rack-out type circuit breakers with vacuum interrupters and the associated control, protective relaying, and metering and complete with all accessories as outlined in this specification and detailed on drawings: Station Location, One Line Diagram, and Grounding Plan. The outdoor metal-clad switchgear lineup with integrated three phase bus duct will be installed as the 12.47Y/7.2kV, 3-phase, 4-wire, 60 HZ, grounded wye distribution substation. The switchgear includes a 12.47kV main bus circuit breaker and the associated control, metering and protective relaying, seven (7) electric utility distribution feeder circuit breakers with the associated control, one (1) control power transformer (CPT) with the associated control metering and protective relaying and automatic reclosing, for a 30/40/50MVA, 69-12.47kV outdoor power transformer with 8% impedance on a 15MVA base and +/- 10% automatic LTC equipment on the LV winding in an electric utility Switchgear known as Garrison Oak Substation in the City of Dover, DE.
