Main Street Watermain Replacement Project Phase II

The City of Jasper, through its Utility Service Board, hereby gives notice that it will receive bids for the installation of approximately 1800 linear feet of C-900 8-inch watermain and appurtenances. The project area is defined as Main Street from 2nd Street to 9th Street. A 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond is required before beginning work in the form provided in the specifications. Also, all insurance required in the specifications must be in place before commencing work. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the bid is required with each bid. All parts of Contractors Bid for Public Works (Form 96), including the Non-Collusion Affidavit, must be completed. Those submitting a Bid will be required to make such disclosures as may be necessary for the City of Jasper to successfully implement the policy and otherwise comply with the Indiana Code pertaining to Nepotism Policy requirements. An Indiana Legal Employment Declaration will be required and an Affidavit Regarding Non-responsibility will be required. The quotes may be held for 45 days.
