Description | The Work consists of and addition and renovations, including, but not limited to, the following (see the construction documents for details): EXISTING BUILDING TO REMAIN: Portion of Existing Senior Center, approximately 3,800 SF of existing building area shall have limited renovations as specified and detailed. This area shall remain in use during Construction Sequence 1. Magnitude of scope varies throughout and includes but not limited to the following: a. Removal of existing floor finishes, doors, ceilings, portions of wall partitions and related electrical and mechanical devices as required by the new layout and renovation requirements. b. New metal stud/drywall partition walls and wall furring, doors, frames, hardware, suspended acoustical ceilings, LVT plank flooring, paint, etc. c. New lighting, fire alarm devices, convenience receptacles, data pathways (only), HVAC distribution throughout the areas to be renovated. EXISTING BUILDING WITH EXTENSIVE ALTERATION: Portion of Existing Senior Center, approximately 1,800 SF of existing building area shall have extensive alteration as specified and detailed. This area shall remain in use during Construction Sequence 1. Magnitude of scope varies throughout and includes but not limited to the following: a. Removal of existing masonry bearing walls, wood roof trusses, plumbing fixtures/piping and portion of concrete floor slab. b. Removal of existing floor finishes, doors, ceilings, portions of wall partitions and related electrical and mechanical devices as required by the new layout and renovation requirements. c. New metal stud/drywall partition walls and wall furring, doors, frames, hardware, suspended acoustical ceilings, LVT plank flooring, carpet tile, paint, etc. d. New lighting, fire alarm devices, convenience receptacles, data pathways (only), HVAC distribution throughout the areas to be renovated. ASSEMBLY USE ADDITION: Approximately 2800 SF, large open space, separated from portion of existing Senior Center to remain with new operable, folding partition. a. Work includes all related Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Fire Alarm Work. All Site Work required to support the new addition. Additional sitework to improve existing parking conditions and accessibility shall be included in a related Alternate Bid. ASSEMBLY USE ADDITION: Approximately 2800 SF, large open space, separated from portion of existing Senior Center to remain with new operable, folding partition. a. Work includes all related Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Alarm and Site Work. TOILET ROOM ADDITION: Approximately 640 SF. a. Work includes all related Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Alarm and Site Work. ENTRY CANOPY & OFFICE ADDITION: Completely demolish existing entry canopy and construct new entry canopy with adjacent approximately 200 SF office space. a. Work includes all related Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Alarm and Site Work. All Site Work required to support the new addition. Additional sitework to improve existing parking conditions and accessibility shall be included in a related Alternate Bid. SITE WORK ALTERNATE BID: Additional sitework to improve existing parking conditions and accessibility. |
