Description

Provide all labor and equipment needed to remove and dispose of Anaerobic sludge from one digester located at the South Gulfport Wastewater Treatment Facility at 13762 Washington Ave., Gulfport, MS 39507. The digester is 54 feet in diameter with a total depth of 30 feet. The water level is 20 feet from bottom cone and estimated to have 1,350 cu yds. of sludge to be removed. The contractor will cooperate with the plant manager in continuing plant operation while this work proceeds. This project will be classified as Confined Space and all OSCA requirements will have to be followed. Two (2) digesters will remain in operation while the contractor is removing the sludge from one digester.
