| Description | The Agency (Homes for Good Housing Agency) will be accepting Quotes from licensed, bonded and properly insured contractors to improve the hot water system within the privately owned, Eugene Mission complex, located at 1542 W. 1st Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97402. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, and all necessary fees and costs in the performance of the project work. All work shall be completed in accordance with the incorporated Request for Quotes, federal, state, and local codes and regulations, and to the highest industry standards. Main Building, 2nd floor Boiler Room - remove (1) existing water heater that is beyond its effective useful life that serves shower and replace with water heater that serves scullery. Provide (1) tankless gas water heater to replace scullery unit. Tankless gas water heater will have a 119 gal. pre-heat tank which will be heated utilizing waste heat from the condenser for a walk-in refrigerator with all associated accessories and ancillary equipment as detailed in Scope of Work and attached engineered specifications. B. Main Building, 1st floor Dayroom Mechanical Room - remove (1) existing water heater that serves Men's Bath/Showers. Provide (1) tankless gas water heater to replace unit. Tankless gas water heater will have a 50 gal. pre-heat tank which will be heated utilizing waste heat from the condenser for a walk-in freezer with all associated accessories and ancillary equipment The Agency expects to issue the Notice to Proceed based on Contractor availability. The Agency will work with the contractor to find a schedule that benefits both parties. Final completion is expected no later than Friday, April 28, 2023. Work may not be performed on Monday, February 20, 2023 (Presidents Day) |
