Description | The Division is seeking quotes on mowing and grounds maintenance at the Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens Cemetery located in Immokalee. Question Deadline 10/11/2023 at 5:00 PM ET Shall be submitted with proposal response in the form of certified funds, cashiers' check or an irrevocable letter of credit, a cash bond posted with the County Clerk, or proposal bond in a sum equal to 5% of the cost proposal. All checks shall be made payable to the Collier County Board of County Commissioners on a bank or trust company located in the State of Florida and insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. For projects in excess of $200,000, bonds shall be submitted with the executed contract by Proposers receiving award, and written for 100% of the Contract award amount, the cost borne by the Proposer receiving an award. The Performance and Payment Bonds shall be underwritten by a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida and otherwise acceptable to Owner Mowing and grounds maintenance is expected to occur once a week in summer (June-December) and every other week in winter (JanuaryMay), for a minimum of 40 service visits per year; but may be increased based on request from the Division Representative or designee. Included in the unit price quote for mowing and ground maintenance, Vendor shall perform the following tasks including but not limited to: Mowing of the entire property Removal of debris or anything that blocks the regular mow service, such as but not limited to dead or faded faux flowers or wreaths, and wreath stands on or around graves, broken glass or other potentially dangerous mementos, and broken or flattened plastic or metal lattice/fence enclosures around graves. Edging around the cement drive area, as needed. Weed eating the fence lines and around headstones or monuments. At the request of the Division Representative or designee, chemical treatment of weeds and dwarf palmetto sprouts over or around fence line and headstones. Chemicals required must be non-damaging to the headstones and approved prior to application by the Division Representative or designee. |
