Demolition and Site Clearance

The demolition of a single-family house and other exterior structures and debris located at 220 Elm street, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to include a bid by a general contractor or sub-contractors for the following listed items and more: Demolition of all structures on the site and removal of all exterior debris. All bids shall be prepared on the forms provided in the specifications and shall remain attached thereto, and shall be addressed to Comptroller Department, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The bid envelope shall be properly identified on the face there as 220 Elm street. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after opening of said bids, without the consent of the Executive Director of the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Fond du Lac. The RDA may reject any or all bids on any basis and without disclosure of any reason. The failure to make a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action against the RDA. The RDA also reserves the right to waive any abnormalities or informalities in bidding, and to select the bid that, in its opinion, will best serve the interests of the RDA. The Work under this Contract consists of razing and removing a single family house, the contents of the building including basements and crawlways, and all junk and debris located on the exterior property areas, including any non-operating or junk motor vehicles and any accessory vehicles such as trailers, etc. The public streets, sidewalks and alleys shall be kept free of debris and mud throughout the performance of work under this contract. The public sidewalks and curbs that may serve as access for the heavy equipment shall be planked with suitable timbers to preclude any damages to said sidewalk and curbs
