Description

The City of Pacific Grove invites sealed bids for a street rehabilitation project including storm drainage and sanitary sewer system improvements. The work consists of roadway excavation, grading, preparing sub-grade, placing Class 2 aggregate base and asphalt concrete paving for street pavement reconstruction; construction and/or reconstruction of curb, curb and gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps and cross gutters; construction and replacement of storm drains, catch basins, curb inlets, and manholes; replacement of sanitary sewer main, sewer manholes, lateral reconnections and spot repair; applying thermoplastic traffic striping & markings; raising/adjusting manholes, valve boxes, and utility boxes to new finished grade and all other work shown on the plans for the segments of 13th, 15th, & 16th Streets. A non-refundable fee of $100 made payable to the City of Pacific Grove will be required for each set of plans and specifications, or $10 for electronic copies on a USB flash drive. Additional charges will be imposed for mailings of plans and specifications. Plans and specifications will not be mailed until payment for materials and postage has been received. A copy of the Bidder Package is also on file at the City Clerk's office in City Hall at 300 Forest Avenue and the Central Coast Builders Association (831) 758-1624.
