Pleasant Street and Smithville Road Improvements

The proposed work is along Pleasant Street from Wire Village Road to High Street and Smithville Road from Pioneer Valley Road to Pleasant Street. The scope of roadway work includes, but is not limited to, full depth reclamation, full depth construction, pavement milling and overlay, minor box widening, closed drainage system improvements, hydrants and other related work, excavation and removal of unsuitable road material, furnishing and installing hot mix asphalt paving, removing and resetting existing granite curb, furnishing and installing new AAB/ADA compliant hot mix asphalt sidewalks and cement concrete wheelchair ramps, hot mix asphalt and granite curb, adjustment of existing drainage and utility structures to final grade, furnishing and installing compost filter tubes and silt sacks, new signs and pavement markings, providing traffic management, and other incidental work. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.
