B728, Repair HVAC, Cannon, AFB, NM

The 27 Special Operations Wing requires a design-build service to repair the HVAC at B728 on Cannon AFB, NM. Contractor’s will be provided a Concept Design (35%) and will be required to submit a 65%, 95% and a 100% design. Upon approval of the 100% design, construction will commence per the approved design. The requirement is to repair Building 728 HVAC system to include appropriate redundancy as specified in UFC 4-133-01 Air Traffic Control and Air Operations Facilities; special attention shall be paid to Chapter 3, Section 4, and Chapter 5. Project to include, but not limited to, design and construction of the following: removal and replacement of existing gas boiler and associated plumbing, demo and replace original ductwork with new, abate asbestos containing material insulating HVAC components, rewire thermostats and EMCS control components to new units, provide appropriate HVAC system redundancy, commission new system, patch and repair associated interior architecture as needed, and any other requirements as identified during the design process.
