Description

The project consists of construction of a new 197,000 gallon tank, a 1500 GPM fire pump, pump house, new yard piping, altitude valve, demolition of the existing tank, and 2130 linear feet of 10" fire line. The project is located in the southern portion of the Village of Columbus, New Mexico. The fire line begins at the same location of an existing stand pipe located at the intersection of Contento Avenue and Quinta Ave. The fire line proceeds to the south down the Quinta Ave, then turns to the east to follow Botanico Avenue. The fire line then proceeds to cross NM-11 via jacking and boring, then turns southward parallel to NM-11 to the edge of the new GSA facility.
